Amazon Watch organizes Media Training Workshops
for Amazonian indigenous and environmental leaders introducing cutting-edge
telecommunications technology and techniques for placing stories in the international
media. The Amazon Communications Team, trains and transfers mobile communications
equipment to indigenous groups on the front lines in order to increase their
capacity to fight industrial mega-projects threatening their lands.
